Contemporary Cape Cod Artists:  People and Places - Exhibition of A Group Artists from Deborah Forman's Book

The work of a selection of Cape Cod artists featured in Deborah Forman’s forthcoming book, Contemporary Cape Cod Artists: People and Places, will be shown at Tao Water Art Gallery in West Barnstable from June 7 through July 8. Portraits, figures, still life and interiors by distinguished artists in a variety of mediums will be on exhibit.   

We plan to make this an important event, which this year is part of a collaboration with the July 16-30 Cultural Center of Cape Cod show and the August 19-September 14 Cape Cod Museum of Art exhibit. A selection of artists from the 45 included in the book will be featured at each venue.

Forman is the author of Perspectives on the Provincetown Art Colony (Schiffer Publishing, 2011) and Contemporary Cape Cod Artists: Images of Land and Sea (Schiffer, 2013). Contemporary Cape Cod Artists: People and Places is the second in the series on Cape artists. Next year, the final book in the series, on abstract art, will be published.
